Ananda Bihara / Houae of Ananda Raja

Ananda Vihara locally known as Ananda Raja's house. Among the Lalmai-Mainamati monasteries discovered in Comilla, this Ananda Vihara is big in size. And this is the second largest Vihara among Vihara discovered in Bangladesh. The monastery is built in a square. A central temple was built in the middle of Vihara. Several temples were built to live in the monastery of Vihara on this temple. Sri Anand Dev, the third king of Dev's family, built this temple at the end of the seventh century or early 8th century. The monastery is estimated to have been used till the twelfth century.
